Suggested route UK to Cyprus without flying  Your Pets Travel
Traveling to Cyprus is easy. There are direct flights from most UK airports to the two Cyprus ones. It is also possible to travel by other modes of transport, but by what ever means will require flying or sailing the last stretch.
Once in Cyprus you will be spoilt for choice on how to get around. Car rental, buses and taxis are widely available.

If you are looking for driving permit and car import information, please see the useful pages.

Paphos did not have a motorway link until 2001. It is now accessed through the A6 which connects Paphos with Limassol. It is expected that by 2013 the new A7 towards Polis will be completed so that the suburbs will get a traffic breath.
Car hire is available on almost any town in Cyprus, but why not pre book your car and have it waiting for you at the airport.

Interurban services are regular and cheap but tend to be slow and to take roundabout routes.
Various Bus companies link all major towns with daily routes at specified intervals
Urban Buses:
These operate frequently during daytime and in certain tourist areas.
During the summer season, their timetables are extended till midnight.
Rural Buses:
Almost all villages are connected with the nearest town by local buses. Bus operation is limited to once or twice a day. Regional bus companies provide more routes.
